Things I Know at age 39

1. 39 is not that old.
2. My last post was way to optimistic.
3. My niece is my wild thing (and I don't ever call my nephews that.)
4. My kitchen will not clean itself.
5. I won't clean it either. (My dog won't, my cat won't and my sister's dog won't clean it.)
6. Reggie Bush rocks.
7. Kentucky fans are way too pessimistic and don't know as much about b-ball as they think.
8. My nephews are two rowdy son of a guns.
9. My parents both need hearing aids. (But do not want to hear each other that well.)
10. My parents disagree with the previous statement.
11. I stole this list idea from my sister.
12. Jordan is my niece and plays softball for Henry Clay. (She also wanted to be mentioned in this post.)
13. My house will not paint itself. (Neither will I, my dog, my cat, or my sisters dog.)
14. Paul Andrews number at UK.
15. Jordan likes to play on railroad tracks. Her near escape seems to have sparked a rash of train derailments. (Coincidence or not?)
16. Number of months since my last date- also my age 23 years ago.
17. Average hours I am awake daily.
18. I cannot wait until mowing season.
19. My brother's job comes with a lot of perks for him and his family.
20. My favorite all-time UK b-ball player is Charles Hurt.
21. My favorite all-time NBA player is Michael Jordan.
22. Jordan Michele is my favorite niece.
23. UK football season is only eight months away.
24. Jamal Mashburn's number at UK.
25. Parker Banks and Robert Hayes Cornett like to shoot people.
26. This post is not as good as my sis's.
27. Working at Target pays the bills during the winter.
28. Working outside during the rest of the year is much more fun.
29. In October I will be 40- and that is not old either.
30. I mentioned my niece in this post and not everything was sports stuff, so she should be happy.

RUN-BMC Strikes in Columbia

Run-Bradley-Morris-Crawford are beginning to understand the way to play Kentucky basketball. Take good shots, pass the ball, tough in your face defense and leading the younger players. Perhaps, it is a maturation process or the new practice facility paying immediate dividends. The destruction of USC in SC was beautiful.
Even though I only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep afterwards-it is worth it if you win going away. (9:00 p.m. starts kill you if work starts at 5:00 a.m.)
Does anyone think that Dave Odom wishes Tim Duncan was still eligible and transferred to South Carolina. Looks like the 2 consecutive NIT titles will not turn into 3 in a row.

Speaking of the new practice facility, that would be so cool to have a pass key to get into a gym to shoot at anytime you choose(not that I am jealous.) When I was in school I was jealous of the free food pass the players had- I could have put that to great use.

I do have to say that some of my favorite teams have been winning lately,
anyone playing: Duke, North Carolina, and Louisville. (Who wants Rick Pitino now?)

By the way, are other coaches jealous or what. How can UK not be in the top 25? With
a #6 RPI, toughest conference RPI, 3 losses to top 25 teams, an 11-game winning streak, and me as a fan.
Ohio State has 3 losses and is in the top Ten. What's the deal?

Congrats to Kelenna Azubuike for making it in the big time!!! Go WARRIORS!!!!
He had 28 vs. Clippers last night.

UK Basketball- should I sacrifice?

As a UK fan I am faced with a dilemma.
Our last 2 National Championships came when I was married and miserable (most of the time).
What should I do? Take one for the team find a lady to marry and wait for the next championship or enjoy the rest of my life and accept that we may never win another title.

What should I do? How far would you go? How far should I go?
What would you do for a NCAA title. These are the type of questions that haunt me.

Do I have the courage to suck it up and take one for the team?
(Probably not)

Just a note- Randolph Morris is going to make big MONEY in the future.
